Hello peeps, I'm back with a new animation test.... this one's about the same basketball player, but now he's bouncing the ball...... to give you a little bit of background, this animation will be the intro to an upcoming short where this dude plays against some monsters and in this shot he's entering the court with a sort of "who wants a piece of this" kind of challenging walk....and yes, this is some sort of a la Space Jam kind of animation.... Needless to say, there is no background elemnt here.... so here I leave it to you guys so you can crit and comment on it.....
Thanks as usual and Enjoy!!!

Hello people, so here it is the final version of the DUNK test. To tell the truth I am happy with the result. Anyways, as usual, any crits and comments are always welcome, since they can always make me more aware for future animations.
Enjoy!! :)
Enjoy!! :)

Hey guys, just did a turntable render test for one of the characters that will make up the upcoming story of the basketball player and 3 demons.... this one's the boss. Enjoy!!
CHEERS!!
Ok, so I'm back with another try at the Dunk test after having some advice from my good friends down at 11secondclub.com. I have made some changes to the height of the jump, as well as some angle issues with the camera and a leg that was supposed to be dragging during the initial jump. I personally think this last issue along with the height one were the most important observations I got. Thanks a lot you guys, your comments really make me improve my animation and my observation skills!!!
So, here it is and as usual I am always open to crits and comments!!! CHEERS!!!
Hello people, it´s been quite a while. Reason for this is that I have been working on the website for our studio www.ztrongstudio.com, which will be open in some more days. On the meanwhile I´ve used one of our many characters we have available for upcoming shorts and whatnot.

So here I leave you with the original REFERENCE VIDEO I got off from the web, it is an extract of a Michael Jordan commercial video.
And here is my animated aproach of it (Playblast version). I did it in my spare time, so any crits and comments to improve it are always welcome.
Cheers!
Howdy again people, well I´m back with another animation, this time it is about a monkey daredevil who wants to fly with a rocket on his back while jumping from a canyon. The animation that follows is a preview up until the monkey flies up in the air and what is missing is just the part where he fails to have a proper landing. Please note that as of now, the animation has no facial expressions, teeth and just one of the shots includes the wick which he supposedly lits with a match (which he takes out of nowhere and lits it with his ass, lol).
As always, this is another short animation which will be included in our (Nep and mine) demoreel of our upcoming 3D company, so I would be very much greatful if you could provide us with the necessary tips and crits in order to pull it off nicely!!!
Happy Animating and Cheers!!! :)
P.S. Red Colored shader represents SSS shader.

Hello people!!!, I'm back with the final rendered version of the Papinos Pizza Cheff. I am really thankful for what people down at 11secondclub.com helped me on this one. One comment I am really taking into consideration is to get myself used to animating arms with FKs instead of IKs, this will really really really improve my animation's fluidity (if this last word makes any sense).
I would like to call the shout out and credits to my fellow good friends NEP (Co-owner & loyal friend of our future 3d company), and Omar "BUDA" Romero for his collaboration on the music and voiceover.
Cheers & Enjoy!!! :)
So I'm back with an update on the cheff animation exercise!!
After taking some kind advice from bixby snipes, member from 11secondclub.com, on what to focus on and change from the original cheff post, here I come!!!
Needless to say, the cheff's still missing the pizza slice in his right hand. Also needless to say, please feel free to critique and comment on the animation, all input is very valuable to me, thanks and enjoy!!!
Cheers!! :)
Hello people, so here is my very first blog and post. I hope I will be updating it as often as I can, now that I´ve decided to stop doing 3D as a hobby and start looking at it as a possible professional career. That said, herein I post a playblast of a current exercise I have been working for the past 4 days (3 hrs per day), in which a chef promotes "Papiños Pizza" (make believe brand). I would like to hear all your comments regarding how I could improve the animation. Points to take into consideration : I am still missing his blinks, eyebrows and hat dynamics. Thanks for watching and enjoy!!!
Cheers! :)
